Fast Travel can be done through Ornithopters and Taxi Services in Dune: Awakening. Learn how to fast travel and hire an Ornithopter Pilot in this guide!

Fast Travel via Taxi Services

Main Cities Fast Travel

There are Ornithopter Pilots who offer a Taxi Service between Tradeposts and the Main Cities. Moving between Tradeposts such as Griffin's Reach and The Anvil costs 700 Solaris per trip. Going to the Main Cities Arrakeen and Harko Village are more expensive, costing 2500 Solaris per trip.

Checkpoints and Respawn Beacons Upon Death

Checkpoints and Respawn Locations

The only other way to fast travel is through a checkpoint or any of your Respawn Beacons after dying. Though this can be a quick fix when you desperately need to return to your base, it is not recommended to respawn often since you will lose items, and your inventory will suffer from durability loss.

Home Base Respawn

Your Sub-Fief, used for your base, can also be teleported to upon death. It is important to note that you cannot directly teleport to your base while alive, and that you can only teleport only when you respawn.

Use an Ornithopter

Ornithopter Flight

Though not exactly fast travel, players may use an Ornithopter instead of Taxi Services since it is the fastest vehicle in the game. As you build up to your own Ornithopter, you can quickly fly across the map.

When you leave Hagga Basin for the first time via Ornithopter, you are introduced to The Overworld Map. This map is used when traveling to other areas such as The Deep Desert.

Huh yes actually, you can at least pilot your own Ornithopter, there's a whole ass tutorial box that explains this right in the game.
