Generator Not Working Fix What to do When No Power

If your base loses power, you need to create more generators and turbines to sustain the electricity requirement of your base in Dune: Awakening. Learn more about what to do when your generator is not working and how to make sure your base always has power here!

What to do When Genarator Stops Working?

Create More Generators or Wind Turbines

Building a Generator for Power
The primary reason why your base suddenly loses power is because you don't have enough power sources to keep your machinery and base shield running. The solution is to create more generators or wind turbines and have them help with the electricity load of the base.

Generators can provide 75 points of electricity each, while wind turbines can give 150. Before building, check the electricity icon on each placeable to see how much power you need.

Monitor Your Circuit Status on your Sub-Fief

Power Circuit Status

You can check the circuit status on your base using your sub-fief to determine if you need more power and when you need it. You can also use this tab to refuel your generators or wind turbines as needed.

Make Sure You Have Enough Fuel Cells

Generator Total Uptime
If you know that you have enough generators or wind turbines and the base still loses power, there's a good chance that one of them ran out of fuel cells. Keep track of how long your power sources can last by checking the bottom right of the prompt that appears when interacting with them.

All machinery that uses power will have a yellow electricity icon below them. This will let you know if a structure will consume power before you place it inside your base.
