Players can engage and fight with other players in Dune Awakening. Find out what PvP is in the game, how to play PvP, and whether there are Forced PvP and PvP zones in this guide!

Areas such as Wrecks in Hagga Basin and areas in the Deep Desert have full PvP zones wherein players can damage other players to take control of points of interest (POIs) to obtain generous loot. Be prepared, however, as these areas may come at a cost.
Other players and guilds will likely find interest in these areas the same way as you do. Plan accordingly to enter the battlefield and come out alive stronger and more prosperous than before.
Protected Zones are safe areas in the game where players can safely interact and connect with other players without the fear of being killed.
Areas such as tradeposts and social hubs like Harko Village and Arrakeen Location and Map Guide are grounds for players to do trading, create materials, and be friendly with the local NPCs and traveling players.

Areas such as outposts and imperial testing stations revolve around PvE gameplay. You may occasionally interact and work with other players while going through these areas without fear of them damaging you.

PvP is not forced in Dune: Awakening but is quite rewarding for players. Arrakis is known to be vast and dangerous, so the amount of resources can be pretty scarce considering other players and NPCs.
While players have the option to avoid interaction with other players, you can experience faster progression through contesting POIs in the Deep Desert and trading with other players.

In the game's later stages, Guilds are some of the most essential aspects.
Players may create and join Guilds to claim and contest territories, gather and generate resources more efficiently, and uniquely experience Arrakis with other players.

Dedicated areas focus on full-on PvP Gameplay. These zones contain rich rewards for players, such as Spice Fields showing up in the Deep Desert.
However, these rewards come at a cost as other players and guilds may likely target these same points of interest . Survive these areas, fight enemy players, and come out on top to become powerful in Arrakis.

Players have a reputation to consider when trying to survive Arrakis. While PvP is allowed in the game, there are designated areas that merit killing players as justified.
Killing other players will have consequences throughout the in-game world, as having a bad reputation may limit your access to different areas and may even prevent you from interacting with NPCs.
In Dune: Awakening, online connectivity is required to play the game. It is not currently possible to experience Arrakis offline, as the game is entirely MMO.
That said, you can choose not to participate in PvP by avoiding highly contested areas in the game, such as when points-of-interest (POIs) appear in the game and the Deep Desert.

The Deep Desert is the focal point of PvP in Dune: Awakening. Players who want to progress quickly in the game will gather here to collect dangerous but bountiful rewards.
Go to this area to experience PvP to its utmost and enjoy full-on combat and gameplay against other players.
