What Are Long Blades?

A Hefty Weapon with Plenty of Reach

Though a long blade's biggest compromise compared to the short blade is its slower attack speed, a player attacking with a long blade can reach farther than with a short blade.

Shielded enemies are vulnerable against slow strikes with the blade. Switching between melee and ranged weapons will be important during these fights as they will be invulnerable against projectiles.
