The developers have confirmed that the game arrived at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET, for both Early Access and Full Launch. Dune Awakening is hosting a large scale beta event, from May 9 to 12, 2025. Eager participants can sign up by wishlisting the game on Steam or by tuning in to the game's live broadcast on May 10 and waiting for Beta Codes.
Closed Beta

May 20 — Initial Release Date
Dune: Awakening was originally slated to release on May 20, 2025 for PC (Steam), but it has now been postponed to June 10, 2025 for the public. Developer Funcom cited the need to "make improvements that will lead to a better gameplay experience from day one."
2024
August 20 — Release Date Window
At Gamescom ONL 2024, Dune: Awakening announced an early 2025 release window. A new gameplay showcase accompanied the announcement.

August 24 — Initial Announcement
Dune: Awakening was officially announced in 2022, with Funcom revealing it as a survival MMO set in the Dune universe.
