Secrets of the Syndicate Walkthrough
1. Investigate the Syndicate
Players will have to investigate Syndicate camps in the Jabal Eifrit Al-janub and the Eastern Shield Wall to start the Secrets of the Syndicate Contract.
Investigate in Jabal Eifrit Al-janub
The first location to head to is called The Slant, in the Jabal Eifrit Al-janub. You can find it to the east of Imperial Testing Station No. 76. Once you arrive, clear out the enemies, and read this notebook inside the structure.

Investigate in Eastern Shield Wall
The second location to check is in the Eastern Shield Wall, south of Imperial Testing Station No. 17. You will find an occupied base; defeat all hostiles, and approach the cave entrance. The next piece of intel will be in a nearby box.

2. Find the Syndicate Flight Logs
The next objective is to head to Sheol to find the Syndicate Flight Logs. Enter the Wreck of the Ourea (Aft), but be wary of the enemies guarding the entrance. Once inside, look for this notebook with the flight logs.

Players may encounter a bug wherein the objective log in the upper left continues to display “Find the Syndicate Flight Logs” even after reading the logs in the Wreck of the Ourea (Aft).
Check the map to see if the Contract Marker Pin has moved on to the next step (Eliminate the Syndicate Underlords). If it has, then it is safe to continue to that marker and progress the Contract.
3. Find the Syndicate Underlords
Now, head to the area shown above in the western part of the Mysa Tarill. Look for a moisture-sealed cave called Khala Cavern, and cut your way inside.

4. Eliminate the Syndicate Underlords
Here you will find the Syndicate Underlords; push deeper into the cavern and defeat all of them to complete this section of the Contract.
5. Find the Syndicate Leader
Then, leave the cave and head up into the nearby rock formations to find the Syndicate Leader. Be prepared for an ambush when you arrive.
6. Eliminate the Syndicate Leader
Fight through the Syndicate Leader and his guards. Note that these enemies can deal a significant amount of damage, so use cover to hide, and your Skills to dispatch them quickly.
Syndicate Leader Not Spawning Bug
Another bug during the Contract will have the every enemy but the Leader spawn, meaning you cannot complete this step of the Contract. It is possible that the Leader spawned in incorrectly and got stuck on terrain.
To remedy this, check the walls of the rock formations in the area, or leave the area for a while and return afterwards. If the issue persists, use the in-game bug report function accordingly.
7. Check the Body for Intel
Once the leader has been defeated, loot his body to find a Syndicate Contract, among other things.
8. Return to Jocasta
With the Contract in hand, return to Jocasta in Harko Village and inform her of what you've discovered. This will complete this step of the Contract.
