For this build, you will invest your skill points in the Weirding Way skill tree to gain bonus damage when using short blades. Then, unlock Knee Charge from The Way skill tree in the Swordmaster class as your primary gap closing ability.
Lastly, since this class relies heavily on melee combat with short blades, you will also invest in passive skills from Body Control to boost your survivability, and in The Blade skill tree for improved close quarters combat.

|
If you are focusing on exploration rather than combat, consider replacing your skills with Bindu Sprint and Shigawire Claw. These abilities are especially useful for traversing the desert or climbing to high areas.
Knee Charge allows you to sprint and lunge toward enemies quickly, making it your primary gap-closing ability. Use it to engage targets and strike with your short blades before they have a chance to react.
Because you will be fighting at close range with short blades, mastering parrying is a must as it gives you a window to attack the enemy. This also allows you to take advantage of Bindu Dodge and Manipulate Instability.
When engaging a large group of enemies, start by using Knee Charge to quickly close the distance. This will give you a brief window to eliminate a target. Then, activate Prescient to trigger the effects of Bindu Dodge and focus on parrying enemies for quick kills.

Absolute BS. How could ever say a Iron weapon is the best weapon. Might be a rushed guide to trick people into shit they shouldn't do. Play the game for 100+h and then start making guides instead of writing BS like that.
