Early Access Server Issues
Issues with Steam Not Updating
After the June 5 launch of the Early Access of Dune: Awakening, some players experienced being unable to join a server when starting the game.
The developers acknowledged these issues, stating they were caused by Steam being unable to update the game for the D1 patch.
How to Fix Server Issues
Restart the Steam Client
Players should restart the Steam client to update the game to the D1 patch. Close the Steam client by right-clicking the Steam icon in the Task Bar's hidden icons. After this, players may re-launch the client to update the game.
Change the Region
Beta players of Dune: Awakening might have the beta region set to default when joining servers for Early Access.
Change the region in the game by clicking the change region button and selecting the appropriate region.
Report the Issue via the In-Game Tool
If you encounter bugs not considered as Known Issues, you can report the issue via the in-game tool!
