Small Ore Refinery in Research Tab
Upon receiving this quest, head to the Research Tab and unlock the Small Ore Refinery. Build it in your base using the Construction Tool, then use it to refine Copper Ore into Copper Ingots 12 times.

Surveying Kit in Research Tab
Next, open the Research Tab again and unlock the Surveying Kit this time. Using the Copper Ingots, craft a Survey Probe and a Survey Probe Launcher.

Survey Probe Activated
The Survey Probe needs to be fired at a high-altitude location. To do this safely, head to the Griffin's Reach Tradepost and fire it there. This saves you the danger of climbing, while also bringing you to the next objective.

2. A Rendezvous With Zantara

The Survey Probe will reveal the Hagga Basin map. Before going to Griffin's Reach Tradepost, take 40 Copper Ore with you. Then, make your way across the desert, and keep to the rocks to avoid Sandworms.

Once you make it to the Tradepost, interact with the Contract Board in the back to accept the Scrap Mettle: Copper Required Contract.

Contact the Contract Issuer
Deliver 40 Copper Ore and contact the Issuer to collect the reward, then use the solaris to buy a Hajra Literjon Schematic from Myr Chakri. Myr is also at the Tradepost, opposite to the Contract Board.

3. A Contract Awaits

Wrecking Crew Contract Details

Once you have the Hajra Literjon Schematic, return to the Contract Board. This time, accept the Scrap Mettle: Wrecking Crew Contract. The mission chain will end, and the next one called The Wreck of The Alcyon will begin.
