Game Progress Automatically Saves

Dune: Awakening automatically saves your progress, so exiting the game at any time is allowed in the game. Note that while this is permitted, your character is vulnerable to damage for 30 seconds after leaving the server.

Vulnerable When Exiting the Game

We recommend going to a watersealed base or a tradepost you can access to protect your character before exiting the game.

Your character is vulnerable for 30 seconds after leaving the server, so enemies and other hazards might kill you. If you are killed, you will find your character in the nearby safe location the next time you log in instead.
