What Are Short Blades?

An Effective Counter against Shields

The short blade is the first counter a player can use to kill foes using the Holtzman shield. This makes it an essential weapon to master early on as the player will carry it throughout the entire game.

Shielded enemies are vulnerable against slow strikes with the blade. Switching between melee and ranged weapons will be important during these fights as they will be invulnerable against projectiles.
