Currently No Way to Increase Inventory

As of writing, there is no way to increase inventory slots. This is a game design implemented in the game so that users must manage their inventory and resources properly.

Alternative Ways to Manage Inventory

Use Storage and Vehicle Containers

Planetologist Storage

As an alternative to having items in your inventory, utilize vehicles and storage containers to save space for more essential items you need.

Ideally, move heavy items such as resources and only have items you might immediately use on your character.

Split Items to Manage Weight

If you have items that are too heavy, such as stone and ores, you can split your items and then drop them in the overworld in case of emergencies.
