The Search For Kynes Objectives
1. Talk to Derek Chinara 2. Find Thufir Hawat in Arrakeen 3. Head to Sietch Tarl 4. Collect the Paper Trapped Under a Rock 5. Return to Derek

1. Talk to Derek Chinara

To start the quest, talk to Derek after completing Science Unlocked. You can find him at Hagga Basin South, near Imperial Testing Station No. 2.

2. Find Thufir Hawat in Arrakeen

Thufir Hawat can be seen in Arrakeen, near the ornithopter pads at the very north of the settlement. You can reach Arrakeen by using the Ornithopter pilot service, or flying manually using your own Ornithopter.

3. Head to Sietch Tarl

Sietch Tarl Location in Oodham and Western Shield Wall
Thufir Hawat will then ask you to investigate Sietch Tarl, which can be found inside a narrow cave on the border of The O'odham and the Western Shield Wall, on the northwestern side of Hagga Basin.

4. Collect the Paper Trapped Under a Rock

Paper Location in Sietch Tarl
After arriving at Sietch Tarl, proceed into the collapsed ruins and interact with the stone at the end of the cave. You will find a piece of paper trapped under a rock, which is required to progress the quest.

5. Return to Derek

Once you have obtained the paper in Sietch Tarl, return to Derek at Hagga Basin South, above the Imperial Testing Station No.2 to complete the quest.
