+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Rosado are +Spd and -Res. Spd is a superboon and boosts Rosado's already impressive base 46 Spd up to base 50, allowing him to keep up with the fastest metagame units.

Rosado's Res is unsalvageable at only base 16 and no amount of investment will protect him against an invested magic attacker. Res is the best bane to take.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Rosado up to +10 to ensure he outspeeds a majority of the metagame units.

How to Use, Explanation

This build takes advantage of Axe of Adoration and Wyvern Rift to make Rosado deceptively bulky. Spd Smoke 4 synergizes with Rosado's base kit by making it more difficult to create follow-ups against Rosado while providing an extra layer of damage reduction to protect him against attacks.

Rosado's Axe of Adoration has multiple offensive and defensive effects that help Rosado withstand his enemies in combat and defeat them at the same time.

Defensively, Axe of Adoration inflicts an Atk/Spd/Def penalty ranging from -8 to -14 (based on his foe's maximum Special cooldown count value), grants Rosado 40% damage reduction on his foe's first attack, and heals Rosado 7 HP after combat.

Offensively, Axe of Adoration grants Rosado Special cooldown charge +1 per attack and reduces the percentage of his foe's non-Special damage reduction skills by up to 70%. These effects allow Rosado to punch through damage even against tanky units by speeding up his Special skill and ensuring he can pierce through damage reduction.
