What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill inflicts stat debuffs on foes, grants Atk/Spd buffs, neutralizes foe's bonuses, deals bonus damage, and neutralizes detrimental Special cooldown manipulation effects. ・New beast transformation mechanic allows transformation even when adjacent to non-beast/non-dragon units. |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Grants Atk+3. At start of turn, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-6 on foes within 4 spaces of unit through their next actions. At start of combat, if foe's HP ≥ 75%, grants Atk/Spd+6 to unit and neutralizes bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) on foe during combat. At start of turn 2, turn 4, and all later turns, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, deals +7 damage when Special triggers, and neutralizes effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to foe or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit. |
Cooldown Count = 4 Boosts Atk by 50%. |
If unit’s HP ≤ 75%, Special cooldown count -1 at start of turn if Special triggers by attacking. If Special triggers, +10 damage from Special. |
At start of even-numbered turns, grants Atk +6 to unit and adjacent allies for 1 turn. (Bonus granted to unit even if no allies are adjacent. ) |

See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Fallen Muarim will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
Fallen Muarim's best IVs are +Atk and -Res. He starts with a very high Atk stat while his weapon grants him even more Atk while debuffing all his foe's stats. His Spd is already good and could be considered due to being a superboon, but he would prefer having as much firepower as possible for every attack he makes.
His Res isn't as impressive as his other stats and shouldn't hurt his performance as an attacker.
We recommend +Atk when merging Fallen Muarim to +10 for similar reasons as above. As an offensive unit, he will want to deal as much damage as he can.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Fallen Muarim is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Wild Tiger Fang gives Fallen Muarim an additional +3 Atk while granting him +6 Atk/Spd during combat if the foe's HP is high enough.
On top of that, his weapon debuffs all the stats of his foes and even nullifies bonuses to their visible stats during combat.
Fallen Muarim's is unique as a beast unit as he can transform even when adjacent to non-beast/dragon allies. This gives him more flexibility when it comes to teambuilding.
In addition, transforming will give him Atk+2, additional damage when he uses his Special, and nullifies Guard and Cooldown bonuses on foes.
Fallen Muarim cannot transform during Turns 1 and 3 even if he is alone or adjacent to a beast/dragon unit. This means taking advantage of the additional effects while transformed will take some planning.
Fallen Muarim takes 1.5x damage from beast-effective weapons like Brave Eliwood's Nini's Ice Lance or Picnic Flora's Sæhrímnir, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take him down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
