When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Astrid are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Astrid's Spd allows her to perform follow-up attacks more easily and prevent enemy follow-up attacks more often at the same time.

Both her HP and Res are less important stats, but HP is a superbane and Res isn't. Thus, -Res is the bane of choice.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Astrid to +10. Her Spd is high enough to compete with the fastest units in the game, thus it should be boosted as much as possible.

How to Use, Explanation

This build uses Astrid as both an offensive unit and a support unit at the same time. Atk/Res Bond is used to round out her stats; you may instead use other Bond skills if you feel certain stats don't require additional boosts.

Astrid is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Astrid Strengths

Damiell Bow is both an offensive and a supportive bow

Astrid's Damiell Bow easily snipes the Blue Flier down.

Astrid's Damiell Bow functions both as an offensive bow and a supporting bow at the same time!

When using the bow offensively, it grants Spd+3 and an Atk/Spd+6 bonus during combat if Astrid's HP ≥ 25%.

When using a Rally skill, Damiell Bow grants the target unit 【Bonus Doubler】and +1 movement on top of the bonuses from the Rally skill. Those bonuses are doubled by the Bonus Doubler effect, provinding that extra push needed to win combat!

Atk/Def Ruse 3 synergizes well with her kit

Astrid also comes with Atk/Def Ruse 3 which has amazing synergy with the rest of her base kit.

Using her Rally Atk/Def+ on an ally not only triggers her Damiell Bow's effects, but it also applies an Atk/Def-5 debuff and a Guard effect debuff on all foes in cardinal directions of both her and her Rally target.

With one Rally skill, Astrid can greatly impact the combat potential of both her allies and her foes. Position yourself well to take advantage of these effects!
