When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Volke are +Spd and -Res. Volke's base Spd of 43 is tied for the second highest in the entire game, and he even comes with Null Follow-Up 3 in his base kit. His Spd should be boosted as much as possible to guarantee follow-up attacks and activate Lethality.

Volke's Res is quite low at base 25, and lowering it should not change most of his matchups, thus it is safe to take as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Volke to +10 for the same reasons mentioned above. His Spd needs to be boosted as much as possible.

This build maximizes Volke's Spd and cooldown acceleration to activate Lethality as much as possible. With Null Follow-Up 3 and Volke's very high base Spd, performing follow-up attacks should happen quite often.

Volke is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Volke Strengths

Fireman's Hook is a powerful dagger

Volke's unique dagger Fireman's Hook is a loaded weapon with multiple powerful effects.

It accelerates Volke's Special cooldown trigger by -1 no matter what, and grants other effects during combat as long as he initiates combat or if he is not adjacent to an ally.

Below is a summary of its effects if Volke initiates combat or if he is not adjacent to an ally:

1 Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to Volke during combat
2 Neutralizes Guard effects that penalize Volke during combat
3 Grants Volke an additional Special cooldown charge for each of his attacks

Fireman's Hook loses these effects if the conditions are not met. Ensure that Volke is always initiating combat or is not adjacent to an ally at all times to take advantage of these powerful effects!

Can swiftly eliminate foes with Lethality

Volke Lethality FEH

Lethality proves to be quite... deadly.

Volke also comes with the new Special Lethality. This amazing new Special reduces the foe's Def and Res by 75% and disables non-Special damage reduction skills like Spurn 3.

It initially has a cooldown of 4, but Volke's weapon Fireman's Hook removes this weakness through the Special acceleration, Guard effect negation, and addtional Specail acceleration per attack.

Each activation of Lethality leads to a very powerful attack and should almost always guarantee a KO for Volke!

Volke's weapon Fireman's Hook requires that he initiates combat or is not adjacent to an ally.

If positioning becomes careless, the weapon may be deactivated and leave Volke vulnerable to the enemy's attacks!

Ensure that the condition is met at all times to avoid Volke getting taken down unexpectedly.

Volke is an amazing source hero for some useful and rare skills; notably - Sturdy Impact, Null Follow-Up 3, and Time's Pulse 3.

On top of those three powerful skills, he also comes with Lethality which is an amazing Special to use, especially in Arena where SP scoring is vitally important.

You can inherit multiple skills with each copy of Volke through pre-inheritance. Be aware of your inheritance options before foddering him off!
