The world where the main story of Fire Emblem Heroes is set in the continent of Zenith.
While it could be speculated that Askr has the most number of summoned heroes due to the presence of Kiran, we are shown multiple times throughout the story that other countries such as Embla and Múspell also have this ability.
This demonstrates that Zenith is in the gateway to other worlds, as heroes from the various worlds of Fire Emblem across different timelines can be summoned to fight.
Interactions between the different heroes are further built upon through the game's Forging Bonds events.
There are currently 7 known worlds that are featured in Fire Emblem Heroes and serve as settings for their respective games.
Several of these worlds connect different Fire Emblem games together, with timelines stated or hinted at by various characters.
Archanea is the world that currently connects the most games, namely:
Marth, being the first protagonist of the entire Fire Emblem series, is the ancestor of Chrom and Lucina.
This is made explicit of the fact that Lucina calls herself Marth when she is first encountered in Awakening (as Masked Marth) and in most of her appearances in Tempest Trials.
Echoes takes place between Shadow Dragon and (New) Mystery of the Emblem.
The setting of Echoes, Valentia, is located west of Archanea and we see some characters from there, namely the Whitewings sisters: Palla, Catria, and Est.
Walhart is very, very strongly hinted at to be Alm's descendant, as his design resembles Rudolf's and the fact that Alm can unlock the Conqueror class, the same as Walhart's in Awakening.
Archanea was renamed as Ylisse many years in the future, while Valentia was renamed to Valm.
There are hints that Fates could also have taken place in the same world, as Corrin meets Chrom in a sidequest where their party is transported to Ylisse.
Chrom mentions that Nohr and Hoshido are kingdoms of myth, which puts the possibility that the events of Fates may have taken place long before Marth's timeline.
Jugdral is the world that connects the games Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776.
Thracia 776 takes place in the middle of the events of Genealogy of the Holy War - the latter takes place in the kingdom of Grannvale, while the former takes place in Thracia.
Like the Whitewings sisters, several units from Genalogy of the Holy War make appearances in Thracia 776 like Finn and Ced.
There are possible connections between Jugdral and Archanea, as Naga appears as a weapon in Genealogy of the Holy War and Awakening.
However, the location of Jugdral in relation to Archanea and Valentia is unknown.
Elibe is the world that is home to two games - Blazing Blade and Binding Blade.
While the Binding Blade game came out first, the Blazing Blade takes place earlier in the timeline, serving as the prequel and putting us in the shoes of a young Hector and young Eliwood.
The Binding Blade takes place 20 years after, where we are now following Eliwood's son and Hector's daugther - Roy and Lilina.
Older versions of characters introduced in the Blazing Blade make an appearance in the Binding Blade like Karel, Merlinus, and Zephiel.
Tellius is the world where the games Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn takes place, with the latter being a direct sequel to the former.
While Daein is home of the primary antagonist of Path of Radiance, Ashnard, it becomes the kingdom ruled by Micaiah at the end of Radiant Dawn.
Several characters first seen in Path of Radiance make an appearance in its sequel, such as the Greil Mercenaries (led by Ike), Tibarn, and Elincia.
Magvel is the setting of the Sacred Stones and is one of the few worlds that does not have another game taking place within it.
Fódlan is the latest continent introduced to the Fire Emblem universe and is the setting to Three Houses.
Like Magvel, it is another world that does not have another game taking place within it.
This is the only world that is from a real place, with various characters from Fire Emblem crossing over to aid the characters in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.
A crossover between Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, the various characters from Fire Emblem do not appear as their normal selves, but are beings called Mirages that come from parallel worlds called Idolaspheres.
