Log-In Bonuses, Quests and lots of Rewards
Lots of rewards and resources are either available from quests or given out as freebies will be available during August!
Log-in bonuses for August 2 - August 15, 2021.
Quests for this month will give out these rewards. The item that is similar in look to Aether Stones at the bottom right portion of the picture can be exchanged for limited-edition cosmetic buildings for AR!
The Top 40 heroes from the last A Hero Rises event will appear in celebratory reward maps. If you clear them all, they will give a total of 20 Orbs. Make sure to get them since Choose Your Legends is this month. Every Orb counts.
Grand Hero Battle Revivals
Half a dozen of GHB Revivals will be available this month. For those who have already fought in these GHBs, quests will be available so you can get extra copies of the GHB units concerned.

Another banner to look forward to this August is the Hero Fest. The heroes aren't the most powerful, but they pack some good fodder for your better units. The skills that you should be looking for the most are A/D Near Save 3 and A/R Far Save 3.
On the other hand, Guinivere and Flayn are great in the roles they try to capture. Unless you are desperately trying to pull for Save skills, you shouldn't be throwing tons of Orbs on this one because of the upcoming Choose Your Legends banner. Fret not, though, since we will all have the chance to get them for free thanks to the 10 First Summon Tickets we will be getting.
If you are a competitive player vying for the top ranks in Aether Raids, make sure you acquire at least one copy of Dedue and Henriette for their respective Save skills. Hero Fest rates and 10 Free Summon tickets are a huge help in acquiring these key skills easier. Additionally

More rewards for August! Make sure to participate, Summoners!
Perilous Seas, new Pirate-themed Heroes!
Pirate Naesala
The fan favorite Naesala from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn returns as Pirate Naesala! Of course he returns as a flier, but now he rocks the red attribute. Is he challenging Tibarn's niche, and will he be succesful?
Pirate Vika
Another entry from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is Pirate Vika. She seems to be the demote of this banner based on the skills from the preview, but you can imagine that she will still be valuable thanks to the niche she has access to. Another pro to her being a demote is that merges are easily more accessible.
Pirate Surtr
Maybe the most surprising entry in this banner is Pirate Surtr! He is an original character from Fire Emblem Heroes, and looks like he is already starting to become a fan favorite!
We all remember how the original Surtr alt took the meta by storm. Will Pirate Surtr take the meta by storm too? We wouldn't be surprised if he did, after all, he probably battles with storms every now and then while out there in the seas.
Pirate Hinoka
...aaaand for the pair entry in this Banner... Pirate Hinoka! She is joined by Pirate Camilla, a fan favorite. Both of them are from Fire Emblem: Fates Not much is known about them, but we sure hope that they deliver some promise!
Perilous Seas
There you have it! We still can't judge the banner because we don't have full details, but no matter how pretty this banner might appear, please be wary when pulling for it as, again, Choose Your Legends is coming up. Sorry, we can't stress enough the imporance of pulling for CYL!
Tempest Trials+ reward, Lifis
If you don't have Orbs for this banner, fret not! Pirate Lifis, or should we say, Lifis (Since he is canonically a pirate already!) will be available from Tempest Trials+.
Summoning Pool Changes
The heroes listed here won't be available as 5★ units anymore, except for when they are focus units. They will be available as entries 4★ Special Rate instead. This means that, when you pull for them, they will appear as 4★, first, but they will be automatically promoted. This means that you can get them as a 5★ unit without using up your pity rate!
New Arena Features
Now you can retreat once per Arena run! This is great for when the defense team has 4 +10 Fallen Edelgards, and you don't want to commit to an offense.
They also added a reset feature if you are not satisfied with your scoring in one Arena run. This means, you don't need to waste time committing to an intentional loss just to reset your run! Thanks, Feh.
New maps are added to the game. This is either a pro, or a con depending on how you look at it.
Heroes Journey!
A new game mode! Looks like this one will be similar to Lost Lore in the parts that you will need to assign heroes to go on a mission to gather rewards. Though unlike Lost Lore, you will need to clear maps to get resources to send your heroes on missions. Does that mean rewards will be greater, then?
