When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
We recommend a +Atk/-Def IV for Nyx. Her Atk is a superboon and she will benefit greatly from the increased Atk boosting her attacking power together with the return damage from her weapon. Her Def is beyond salvageable, thus taking it as a bane is a safe choice.
We recommend taking +Atk as your boon of choice when building a +10 merged Nyx. Boosting her burst potential is key in maximizing the use of her weapon.

Miracle

This gimmicky build relies on pre-charging Nyx's Miracle through Time's Pulse 3 and other special cooldown reduction effects through her allies' support. Nyx's defenses are reduced as much as possible in order to receive the most damage from an enemy's attack. Miracle will keep Nyx alive, and the mitigated damage will be returned to the opponent to kill him/her with a devastating counterattack.

This build maximizes Nyx's Atk and Spd stats to deal as much damage as possible, while relying on Ginnungagap's damage reduction for survival. The dual Atk/Spd Solo skills boost her Atk and Spd together with her weapon's conditional boost. Null Follow-Up ensures that combat relies on a Spd check for Nyx to make a follow-up attack.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Nyx is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Nyx's unique tome Ginnungagap grants her Atk/Spd+6 if her HP ≥ 25%. It also reduces damage from her foe's first attack by 40% if she initiates combat or if she is facing a magic or staff opponent, then boosts her next attack by the amount of damage reduced. This damage reduction effect makes her deceptively tanky and perfect to combat enemy mages or staff units!
In addition to her tome's damage reduction, Spd/Res Solo 4 provides an additional Spd/Res+7 bonus to Nyx during combat as long as she is not adjacent to an ally. These bonuses help her prevent follow-up attacks, create a follow-up attack opportunity of her own, and help her resistance to magical attacks from her foes.
Nyx carries the powerful B skill Null Follow-Up 3. This skill denies her opponents from making automatic follow-up attacks and prevents effects that deny her own follow-up attacks. This turns combat into a Spd check for Nyx to create a follow-up attack of her own, which is beneficial thanks to her bonuses from Ginnungagap and Spd/Res Solo 4.
Nyx has a low Def stat of 19 and her other skills do not compensate for this. This leaves her vulnerable to physical attacks from both melee and ranged foes. Make sure to keep her away from these opponents as much as possible.

Nyx can be used to inherit Spd/Res Solo 4 and Null Follow-Up 3. From these options, Spd/Res Solo 4 is the rarest, as Nyx is the only hero with this skill (As of July 2021). There are a handful of other heroes with Null Follow-Up 3 available for inheritance, so think carefully when choosing to use Nyx as a source hero.
Nyx is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.
