As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Valentine's Veronica will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Valentine's Veronica is +Spd/-Res. By raising Veronica's speed, it will be easier for her to score doubles when she attacks.

Meanwhile, as both her Def and Res are already pretty low, it's safe to make Res her bane, as she'll be relying more on her weapon's sustain and debuffs to stay alive.

+Spd for a 10 Merge

How to Use, Explanation

This is Valentine's Veronica's base kit. You can give her any positional assist and Swift Sparrow 2 as a Sacred Seal to boost her firepower. Hone Cavalry is a good C skill if she's in a cavalry-centric team, but you can substitute any C skill that fits your team composition.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a premium offensive build for Valentine's Veronica using offensive skills all around to maximize her damage output. S/R Far Trace provides post-combat mobility while Atk/Spd Menace provides a good stat swing while activating her Atk/Spd Catch's conditions.

Valentine's Veronica is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Valentine's Veronica Strengths

Pact Blooms+ Debuffs and Sustain

Valentine's Veronica's speed stat isn't very impressive, but she makes up for it with the debuffs inflicted on enemy units by her weapon if she's within 2 spaces of an ally.

It reduces an enemy unit's damage that they can deal towards her due to it inflicting -5 Atk/Res. This, in turn, allows her to increase her damage towards them

Her weapon also gives her sustain as it heals her after combat.

Possible doubles due to Chill Spd 3 and high Speed Stat

With 40 speed at Lvl. 40 (accounting for skills), Valentine's Veronica is in a good range to be able to double enemy units.

With Chill Spd 3, this pushes the possibility even further, as an enemy unit needs to be the same or have 5 points more speed to prevent her from doubling.

Valentine's Veronica Weaknesses

Low Atk Stat

Valentine's Veronica suffers from a low attack stat, maxing out at 48 at Lvl. 40 (accounting for skills).

This means that she will need a low cooldown Special and/or teammates buffing her for her to deal more damage.

Poor Def and Res

With only 21 Def and 22 Res at Lvl. 40, Valentine's Veronica is very fragile and can easily be taken down by units with very high attack.
