+Atk/-Res

The best IVs for Jill are +Atk and -Res. Jill gets a lot of Spd from her skills and her Spd is already at an amazing level. This means that getting a +Atk IV is more efficient in improving her overall offensive ability. Her Res stat is of less importance so it is safe to take as her bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Jill to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. At this point, she will be able to take out a lot of units without taking damage because of the built-in Desperation in Talregan Axe.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a more expensive build for Jill. Talregan Axe and Heavy Blade 3 in the Sacred Seal slot will help in making Galeforce activations more frequent. The A and C slots are for boosting her ability to score follow-up attacks. Guard Bearing 3 is taken to reduce damage in the enemy phase when Jill is at the weakest.

How to Use, Explanation

A simple budget build for Jill. Simply add an assist skill and a good offensive skill in the Seal slot, and she should be good! You can be very flexible with the Seal slot, though. Since she's mainly an offensive unit, though, SS2 is a good choice. You can also go for Blade Session 3.

Jill is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Jill Strengths

Talregan Axe offers powerful effects if conditions are met

Jill's weapon, Talregan Axe, accelerates her speical trigger. This puts Moonbow's cooldown counter to 1.

If she initiates combat or if she is within 2 spaces of an ally in the enemy phase, Talregan Axe grants +6 Atk/Spd during combat. This makes her a deadly high-speed attacker. The Spd boost will also make it hard for the enemy to score follow-up attacks on her.

Another effect Talregan Axe has is: If she initiates combat, her follow-up attack is made before the foe counterattacks. This makes her a deadly player phase unit that can take out foes without taking damage!

A Slot Skill gives massive bonus to Atk/Spd

Jill has the A slot skill Atk/Spd Push 4, which grants Atk/Spd+7 so long as her HP is at or above 25%. It will inflict damage on Jill after battle, but considering that this maximizes Jill's offensive abilities and that it jives well with her overall build, the benefits outweighs the drawbacks.

Spd/Def inflicted onto a wide area

Jill's C skill, Spd/Def Rein 3 inflicts -4 Spd/Def on foes within 2 spaces during combat. It helps both Jill and allies as the range is modest and it affects enemies even if Jill is not directly part of combat. Jill's flying movement makes it easy to position her in effectively utilizing this skill. It is an in-combat buff which makes it easy to stack with other debuffs such as Atk Ploy 3.

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Jill takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

Jill can be used to inherit Atk/Spd Push 4 or Spd/Def Rein 3. However, Jill is a very powerful offensive unit that easily outclasses many of the axe fliers in the game. We recommend training and investing in her instead!

When talking about merging Jill to plus 10, you say she has built in vantage in her weapon, however I believe you meant to say she has built in desperation, since that is the ability that lets you attack with your follow up before the enemy can counter attack.
