The best IVs for Summer Selena are +Atk and -HP. A +Atk IV allows Summer Selena to take advantage of her high Spd stat which enables her to get lots of follow-up attacks. Her HP is of less importance so it is safe to take as a bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

How to Use, Explanation

This build uses the recoil from Atk/Spd Push 4 to activate Desperation and allow consecutive attacks for future engagements. Make sure to keep the unit alive after the first combat since they will be in exploitable HP ranges! Rouse Spd/Res 3 and Brazen Atk/Spd 3 help secure the follow-up attack.

Summer Selena is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Summer Selena Strengths

Inflicts an In-Combat Spd/Def Debuff and Possesses an Atk/Spd Buff

Exotic Fruit Juice inflicts -6 Spd/Res on foes within 2 spaces during combat. This increases Summer Selena's damage and somewhat improves her durability as she will be less susceptible to follow-up attacks. It works in both phases and this adds to Summer Selena's versatility.

Additionallly, Atk/Spd Push 4 grants Selena +7 Atk/Spd in combat provided her HP ≥ 25%. It works in both phases making Selena a great offensive unit as she can get tons of follow-up attacks regardless of the situation.

Debuff Foes whilst Repositioning Allies

Spd/Res Snag 3 inflicts -6 Spd/Res to foes near Selena and target unit whenever she uses a movement-assist skill. This skill together with her native Draw Back, makes for a versatile combo that you can use in both engaging enemies and protecting allies.
