When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Perceval are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Perceval to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. With a +Spd IV, Perceval will reach 40 Spd and that is without his skills and Spd debuffs.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Perceval to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With a +Spd IV and +10 merges, he reach a very decent 44 Spd. If you prefer a more defensive Perceval, you can instead go for a +Def IV.

This very expensive build for Perceval leverages the Special counter reduction of his prf. weapon, and his decent Atk stat (by getting Heavy Blade 3), to make way for consistent Galeforce 3 activations. Under the right circumstances and support, he can be a formidable player phase unit with this build. If you do not plan to run Desperation 3, you can go with his default B skill.

This is an enemy phase build for Perceval. Thanks to his prf. weapon, Distant Counter, Quick Riposte 3, and the handy Steady Breath Seal, he will dish out rapid Special activations.

Perceval is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Similar to Summer Lyn's Deep-Blue Bow, Prized Lance adds +4 to all stats if Perceval enters combat with a foe at 100% HP. However, it works in both phases unlike Deep-Blue Bow. Additionally, it also inflicts special cooldown chage -1 on foe per attack and it also accelerates Perceval's special trigger. Prioritize your targets to make best use of Perceval's Prized Lance!
Rouse Def/Res 3 grants Perceval +6 Def/Res if he is not adjacent to an ally at the start of the turn. Atk/Def Solo 3 grants another additional +6 Atk/Def if he is not adjacent to allies in combat.
Both those add up to +12 Def +6 Atk +6 Res. The trigger conditions are pretty easy to meet, and require little to no strategy, making a base kit Perceval a very straightforward and easy to use but powerful offensive character.
Perceval has the B skill Lull Atk/Spd, which will inflict Atk/Spd-3 on a foe in combat, and nullify bonuses to those stats. This will decrease foes' damage and Perceval's rate of follow-up attacks, and it has the powerful property of nulliying Atk/Spd buffs.
Perceval takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take him down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Perceval can be used to inherit the skills Atk/Def Solo 3 or Lull Atk/Spd 3. Take note that both these skills are quite rare so think carefully which one you are fodderring off and to whom you are fodderring it off to.
