The best IVs for Summer Takumi are +Spd and -Def. A higher Spd stat allows Summer Takumi to prevent follow-up attacks against him and help her make follow-up attacks on his own. Summer Takumi is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Summer Takumi Strengths

Built in Desperation effect in his weapon

Summer Takumi's weapon, Fishie Bow+, has the effect of Desperation 3 built-in. It allows Takumi to do a follow-up attack before the enemy counterattacks if his HP has dropped below 75% HP. If Takumi's damage is high enough, this allows him to easily take out enemies without taking damage.

Additionally, it inflicts -7 Def/Res to foes after combat as it is a dagger weapon.

Can buff himself and nearby allies' Res

His default C skill Odd Res Wave 3 grants Res +6 to unit and adjacent allies at the start of odd-numbered turns. Wave skills provide buffs even to the user, despite being C-slot skills, which is a huge advantage to using them. Use the odd-numbered turns buff to your advantage, and strike when the time is right!

Summer Takumi Weaknesses

Low Defenses

Summer Takumi's Def and Res sit at only 21 and 219 respectively. This makes him extremely fragile. We recommend using movement-assist or refresher-assist skills on Takumi to keep him safe if he ends his action on a danger zone.

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Summer Takumi takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
