When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-HP

The best IVs for L'Arachel are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows L'Arachel to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. This IV synergizes very well with her weapon skill! Her HP is of less importance so it can be safely taken as her bane.

Her Def is also of less importance, but since it is a superbane, we recommend going for a -HP IV instead.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging L'Arachel to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. She reaches 38 Spd with this IV. With Ivaldi, she can reach up to 41 Spd on foes with 100%HP! Make sure to support her with buffs from other units to allow her to score follow-up attacks on even the fastest of foes!

You can also go for a +Atk IV if you prefer powerful single-hit attacks or if you find L'Arachel being up against relatively slower units.

How to Use, Explanation

This build allows L'Arachel to utilize the buffs being given to her on her team in order to take out enemy units. Her C skill is also up to the player and the team she is being used in. You can use Ivaldi as her weapon for a bit more atk and speed, and have Moonbow as her Special but otherwise the build remains unchanged.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Ivaldi

Any upgrade to Ivaldi decreases the HP requirement for the base effect to trigger and adds a Res boost to her.

The Special Effect Refine Effect punishes foes for being healthy and adds a sustain mechanic for L'Arachel. Since the punishement includes an Atk penalty, the heal and the penalty improves L'Arachel's durability.

L'Arachel is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat. In addition, L'Arachel has self-healing skills and buffs for allies' Res.

L'Arachel Strengths

Ivaldi grants an atk/Spd bonus

L'Arachel's weapon skill, Ivaldi, grants her +3 Atk/Spd if her foe is at 100% HP. Take note that L'Arachel's A skill slot is up for grabs! We recommend getting skills like Swift Sparrow 3 or Life and Death 4. Both skills synergize well with Ivaldi's effects. If L'Arachel lands a follow-up attack through these bonuses, it is highly possible that the damage is enough to land a knock-out on an enemy unit!

Automatic HP regeneration

L'Arachel's B Skill Renewal 3 will will let her recover 10 HP at the start of every second turn. Since she can regain lost HP even without a healer on the team, taking a little damage does not stop her completely.

This makes her base kit for engagements with multiple maps such as Tempest Trials+

Can greatly buff her allies' Res stat

In this case, Shiro's Def Tactic 3 affects all of his allies because there is no one movement type that surpasses a unit count of 2. Shiro and Rhajat make up for 2 infantry types, there is 1 axe cavalier in the far left and 1 sword knight in the bottom screen. This trigger condition is exactly the same as L'Arachel's Res Tactic 3.

Canas's default C skill, Res Tactic 3, will grant Res+6 to all party members with less than 2 of the same movement type ally on their team. For a mixed party with two infantry units and two cavalry units (etc.), this can be a useful skill, but you must pay close attention to your party's construction to get the most use of it.

Special Effect Refine improves offenses and defenses

L'Arachel's Ivaldi has access to a Special Effect Refine that increases both her offenses and her survivability. Read more about it in the Weapon Refine section.

L'Arachel Weaknesses

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

L'Arachel takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
