What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Damage output increases with higher Spd ・Can move 3 spaces when conditions are met ・Can slow down a foe's special trigger |
Might: 14 Range: 1 Grants Spd+3. If unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd, deals damage = 70% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +7 damage. Combos with Phantom Spd.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.) If unit transforms, grants Atk+2. |
Cooldown Count = 4 Before combat this unit initiates, foes in an area near target take damage equal to 1.5x (unit’s Atk minus foe’s Def or Res). |
If unit initiates combat, grants Atk/Spd +4 during combat. |
If unit’s HP ≥ 80% at start of combat, enemy is inflicted with Special cooldown charge -1. (If using similar skill, only highest value applied. ) |

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Naesala will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Naesala are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Naesala to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. Additionally, stacking Spd allows him to deal bonus pure damage through Raven King Beak! With his low defensive stats, no bane would be best, but a -Res IV will make his Def and Res balanced. Balanced defenses is ideal for survivability. Be wary has his Res is a superbane!
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Naesala to 10. This is for the same reasons as above! With this IV, he reaches 48 Spd at 10 merges. This allows him to deal tons of damage through follow-up attacks and Raven King Beak.

This build aims to give Naesala the highest score possible in the Arena. B Duel Flying 4 will make up for his low BST, while the rest of the kit has premium skills to help him in dealing damage while also contributing to a high score.

A build that aims to push Naesala's Atk and Spd higher with Atk/Spd Solo and uses Galeforce to allow him to attack multiple units. Wings of Mercy 3 allows him to fly to low HP units to attack. Having multiple units with Wings of Mercy 3 will make this particularly effective in wiping out an enemy team. This works best with other beast units that also carry WoM.

Might: 14 Range: 1 HP: 3 Grants Spd+3. If unit initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd+5 to unit during combat and deals damage = 15% of unit's Spd. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.) If unit transforms, grants Atk+2. If unit is transformed or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd+5 to unit during combat and the following effects will occur based on the value of unit's Spd minus foe's Spd: If ≥ 1, grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per unit's attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) If ≥ 6, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks. :500 :200 |

The special refine of Raven King Beak grants bonus offensive stats, Special acceleration, and denying follow-up negation effects. These effects all work together to quickly activate Naesala's Special, and is worth more than simple stat upgrades.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Naesala is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Raven King Beak deals bonus damage if Naesala's Spd is more than her foes. The bonus damage is calculated by 70% of the difference in Spd. This maxes out at +7 damage, but it is pure damage meaning that it cannot be reduced by the foe's stats or color attribute advantage. Additionally, if Naesala is able to get a follow-up attack, this bonus damage is applied again. This means that this effect has a potential of dealing +14 pure damage.
Conveniently, this weapon skill also provides Naesala with extra +3 Spd
This effect is compatible with the Phantom Spd Sacred Seal that treats Naesala as if she has +10 Spd whenever there is a Spd check.
If Naesala meets the transformation requirements of Raven King Beak, he gains an extra space of movement and a humble +2 Atk. His great flying mobility allows him to roam maps freely—giving him near full freedom to pick up vulnerable targets like a bird of prey.
Never underestimate the power of 3-space flying movment!
Swift Sparrow 2 grants Naesala +4 Atk/Spd if he initiates an attack. This works well with the player phase nature of Naesala. It not only adds damage through the Atk bonus, but the Spd bonus helps Raven King Beak deal more damage! He will hit very hard if he manages to score a follow-up attack on an enemy.
Upgrade to Swift Sparrow 3 if you can afford to do so!
Special Skill | Area of Effect |

Blazing Wind deals fixed damage to a tightly-knit area. It is a great special in maps that have enemies bundled up together. It is strong against enemies that have high defenses as it deals fixed damage regardless of Res or Def. A lot of strategy can be put into using Naesala's Blazing Wind. You will be surprised at its true potential when used correctly.
As a flying unit, Naesala takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

Naesala can be used to inherit the skills Swift Sparrow 2 and Guard 3. However, Naesala is a limited unit from the Grand Hero Battles and Heroic Grails, so think carefully before foddering him off.
Naesala is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.

Don’t judge me too harshly. I suppose I’ll just have to kill you. You’re just unlucky. I’ve no more use for you. |

You seem to take your work quite seriously. What leverage must these people have over you, I wonder… Oh, relax. It was only a little joke. As for my reason to fight? Simple. Kilvas desperately requires funds. In my country, mercenary work is the best—and sometimes only—way to keep the people fed. Selling one’s services to the highest bidder may be unsavory, but worrying about your reputation is for the rich. The people of Kilvas depend on me. That is why I fight. You’ll continue to keep me well-supplied, won’t you? |

For Desperation Naesala build, imo Surge Sparrow is better than Swift Sparrow 3, it gives +1 atk than Swift and it also heals Naesala. It may look counter synergistic but can survive another hit to enable desperation again on your next turn

The healing would take him out of Desperation range. Naesala's defenses aren't the best and he is still weak to bows and beast-effective weapons, so his survival isn't guaranteed. Perhaps on a Dive-Bomb Galeforce build so he can go in, kill someone, and get out?
