Short Spear Analysis

Shield and Spear Combo

As with any spear, the Short Spear is an excellent combination to use with shields since you can attack while blocking. It can also be acquired quite early in the game and is the starting weapon of the Soldier Class.

One problem with the spears is that they are not effective to use against multiple enemies due to the lack of lateral attacks. However, the Shield and Spear combo thrives in narrow corridors so choose wisely when to use spears.

Short Spear Recommended Upgrade

Sharp upgrade path is recommended to take advantage of its high stat bonuses. However, given that Bladestones are quite difficult to come by in the game and that the Short Spear itself is not the strongest spear anyway, other spears could be more advisable.
