How to Get All Gratitude Crystals and Rewards | Batreaux Side Quest

How to Get All Gratitude Crystals

Complete Side Quests

To start collecting Gratitude Crystals, you need to find Kukiel and complete the Missing Child side quest. This lets you complete other side quests, as well as find the individual Gratitude Crystals at night.

A total of 65 Gratitude Crystals can be collected by completing these side quests.

Gratitude Crystal #1: Lower Ledge North of the Bazaar

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

This Gratitude Crystal can be found on a lower ledge north of the Bazaar.

Gratitude Crystal #2: At the Pumpkin Patch East of Skyloft

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

Head to the eastern side of Skyloft and look for a tree near the pumpkin patch to find a Gratitude Crystal behind it.

Gratitude Crystal #3: Near the Bird Statue at the Waterfall Cave

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

Go through the Waterfall Cave until you reach the exit. Check the heart flowers near the exit to find this Gratitude Crystal.

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

Find the alcove where your Loftwing was imprisoned in the Waterfall Cave to find a Gratitude Crystal inside.

Required Items	None
Location	Knight Academy

Head inside Link's room at the Knight Academy and find the Gratitude Crystal floating on the desk.

Location	Knight Academy

Head upstairs at the Knight Academy and find the Gratitude Crystal floating near a potted plant in the corner.

Location	Skyloft

Head south of the Knight Academy and look to the left to find some vines leading down to a lower ledge. Jump down to the area to find the Gratitude Crystal.

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

Enter Orielle and Parrow's house south of the Bazaar and find the Gratitude Crystal in the right corner of the room.

Gratitude Crystal #9: Back Side of the Light Tower

Required Items	None
Location	Skyloft

Head to the Plaza and go to the back side of the Light Tower to find this Gratitude Crystal.

Gratitude Crystal #10: Second Floor of the Lumpy Pumpkin

Required Items	None
Location	Pumpkin Landing

Head inside the Lumpy Pumpkin and use the bed to sleep until night.

Run upstairs to the second floor to find the Gratitude Crystal floating on the counter.

Required Items	None
Location	Pumpkin Landing

At Pumpkin Landing, head to the area with the large pumpkin patch and turn right. Follow the ramp leading to a storage shed with a Gratitude Crystal on it.

Required Items	Beetle
Location	Sparring Hall

Inside the Sparring Hall, look up to find the Gratitude Crystal on the rafters. Use the Beetle to retrieve it.

Gratitude Crystal #13: On Top of the Propeller at Beedle's Airshop

Required Items	Beetle
Location	Beedle's Island

Enter Beedle's shop during the day and use the bed inside to sleep until night. Exit the shop and look up to find the Gratitude Crystal on one of the propellers. Use a Beetle to retrieve the crystal.

Gratitude Crystal #14: Inside Zelda's Room

Required Items	Clawshots
Location	Knight Academy

Outside of the Knight Academy, climb up the ledges on the side of the building to go around it and reach the top.

Look up and use the Clawshots to grapple on the target found on the chimney. Let go to drop down inside.

Crawl through the passageway to enter Zelda's room. You can find the Gratitude Crystal on the carpet.

How to Get Into Zelda's Room

Gratitude Crystal #15: On Top of the Waterfall Island

Required Items	Clawshots
Location	Skyloft

Head to the east side of Skyloft to find some floating islands. Use the Clawshots to grapple on the vines of the island to get to the large waterfall island.

Head to the mouth of the waterfall to pick up the Gratitude Crystal.

You receive rewards for finding Gratitude Crystals, though this depends on the number of crystals you have.

What Are Gratitude Crystals?

Collectible Crystals that Earn You Rewards

Gratitude Crystals are collectible items that can be found in Skyloft. Collecting these and showing them to Batreaux rewards you with valuable items such as a Piece of Heart or an upgraded wallet.

A Total of 80 Gratitude Crystals

There are a total of 80 Gratitude Crystals to collect and they can be found in certain locations at night or as a reward for completing side quests.

Although collecting all Gratitude Crystals is not required to complete the story, the rewards you receive from Batreux are beneficial, especially for farming for Rupees and upgrade materials. The crystals are also essential for completionists who are aiming to 100% the game.
