Design

The Joy-Cons are painted in two different shades of blue, with intricate golden patterns and triforce symbols below each Joy-Con. The right Joy-Con is based around the design of the Master Sword, featuring the same colors as the hilt, as well as iconography. The left Joy-Con, on the other hand, is the same shade of blue as the Hylian Shield, and features the familiar Hylian Crest.

The Joy-Con straps have patterns of blue shades found on the hilt of Master Sword and on Fi's legs. Additionally, the Joy-Con strap attached to the Joy-Cons is a shade of white similar to the rim of the Hylian Shield seen on the box design below.

The box features the limited edition Joy-Cons, together with an image of the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield, the classic Legend of Zelda equipment in which these Joy-Cons are modeled after. The side of the box contains images of the Joy-Cons together with their wrist straps.

The Skyward Sword Joy-Cons feature both HD Rumble and motion controls, like all other Joy-Con models. While the now familiar design of the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons has not seen any major changes to design, these are some of the most stylish ones to be produced by Nintendo yet, thanks to the neat Legend of Zelda designs.

These Joy-Cons will allow you to take advantage of the classic Skyward Sword motion controls in game, such as using the right Joy-Con to angle and swing your sword, aim the bow, or perform other motion techniques. Additionally, the same Joy-Cons can be used in both handheld or docked mode for more traditional button controls, using the right stick for things like swinging the sword and rotating the camera.
