List of Contents
Location | Faron Woods |
---|---|
Butterflies tend to gather around Gossip Stones like myself. If you find a spot swarming with butterflies, play a tune of great beauty and a Gossip Stone might just pop out of the ground with a boing-oing! |
Head to the area between the Sealed Grounds and the Bird Statue. Use the Goddess's Harp near the swarm of Blessed Butterflies to uncover the Gossip Stone from the ground.
Location | Floria Waterfall |
---|---|
They say drawing a symbol of love upon certain walls will heal your wounds. |
Leave the Water Dragon's lair and head left. Find the swarm of butterflies and use the Goddess's Harp near it.
Location | Deep Woods |
---|---|
Glittering Spores cause something to happen when they are thrown on bugs or monsters. They can be collected from sparkly mushrooms. |
Climb the ledges on the left near Skyview Temple and use the Goddess's Harp near the swarm of Blessed Butterflies to uncover the Sheikah Stone.
Location | Pumpkin Landing (The Sky) |
---|---|
Apparently, if you draw a symbol of money on certain walls, you can make an easy fortune. |
Head left of the Lumpy Pumpkin's entrance and find the swarm of butterflies.
Location | Bamboo Island (The Sky) |
---|---|
You can get a valuable treasure if you succeed in cutting the bamboo stalk over 28 times at Clean Cut. Peater, who was formerly the teen heartthrob of Skyloft, claims to hold the record with 43 slices. Or so he says... |
Head inside the building in Bamboo Island and look for the swarm of butterflies at the northern side.
Location | Eldin Volcano |
---|---|
If you can dig up all the Rupees in Mr. Tubert's Thrill Digger, you'll receive a rare treasure. |
Head to the bokoblin camp west of Eldin Volcano and roll a bomb towards the rocks blocking the entrance to enter the cave.
On the right of Mr. Tubbert, use the Goddess's Harp to uncover the Gossip Stone.
Location | Eldin Volcano |
---|---|
I've heard some of the Goddess Cubes unlock all sorts of treasure when they fly up into the sky. Some even hold a Piece of Heart. |
Head to the high ledge on the left of the Earth Temple. Ride the geyser to reach the high ledge.
Location | Eldin Volcano |
---|---|
It's been said that the best way to snag a rare insect is to approach it slowly and use a Big Bug Net. |
Head to the Desert Gorge or Temple of Time Bird Statue and head to the wall near the minecart to find the swarm of Blessed Butterflies.
Location | Volcano Summit |
---|---|
Rumor has it there's a Piece of Heart hidden somewhere nearby. The thing is, to get to it you need to be able to burrow like a Mogma. |
Head inside the room with the second frog statue and turn right.
Location | Island southeast of the yellow beam at the Sky |
---|---|
They say it's possible to summon Fairies by drawing three triangles upon certain walls. |
Head to the island southeast of the yellow beam and land in the hole on top of it.
Location | Lanayru Caves |
---|---|
They say somewhere in this vast desert, there's a dragon who loves putting the abilities of those who visit him to some kind of test. If you can master the challenges he throws at you, you'll be rewarded with a shield stronger than any other. |
Head to the cave where Golo the Goron can be found mining and find the swarm of butterflies inside.
Location | Lanayru Caves |
---|---|
Oddly enough, it seems that drawing a circle on certain strange walls will produce something round. |
Head in the northern narrow path in the Lanayru Caves and look for the swarm of butterflies on your right.
Location | Eldin Volcano |
---|---|
A dragon is said to live at the peak of this volcano. You're nowhere near the peak, though! Rumor has it you're some kind of genius that remembers things perfectly the first time you hear them... |
Head to the southeastern area with the lava plates and jump on one of them to reach the cave entrance. Look on the right as you enter the cave.
Location | Eldin Volcano |
---|---|
I hear the dragon that lives at the top of the volcano is awfully chatty. So chatty, they say, that he's even willing to talk about matters outside his own realm! |
Head southeast of the Earth Temple and jump on the lava plates to reach the cave entrance. Look on the left as you enter the cave.
Location | Island south of Bug Rock |
---|---|
You may get rare and difficult-to-catch bugs if you finished the Bug Wrangler challenge in Bug Heaven within two minutes. |
Head to the middle of the island south of Bug Rock and use the Goddess's Harp to uncover the Gossip Stone.
Location | Volcano Summit |
---|---|
Rumor has it that drawing an arrow shape on certain walls will cause an object of similar shape to appear. |
By the waterfalls in Volcano Summit, there is a ledge. Below this, there is another ledge behind a pillar containing a Goddess Cube. Glide over to it using the Sailcloth.
Use the Clawshots on the vines on the higher platforms to reach the area above the waterfall.
Location | Skyloft |
---|---|
You're a weird one, climbing all the way up here. Hey, if you tried to dive off the ledge here, I bet you could land in the nest on top of the tower down there. But what do I know? I'm a stone. |
Head to the Waterfall Cave entrance and use your Clawshot to grapple at the vines on the small island above and make your way up to the waterfall island.
Here is the list of treasures that you receive upon uncovering a Sheikah Stone. Note that the treasures they drop are random.
Eldin Ore | Ornamental Skull | Jelly Blob | Evil Crystal |
Golden Skull | Monster Claw | Goddess Plume |
Sheikah Stones (Gossip Stones) are mysterious statues that give advice and a treasure when they appear from the ground. To find these statues, you need to look for an area with a swarm of Blessed Butterflies and play the Goddess's Harp.
The statues also react to different actions. Shooting it with an arrow allows you to get Green Rupees, using the Gust Bellows or Glittering Spore makes them shrink, and using a bomb causes them to fly away.

Heya, I just noticed that the text on Sheikah Stone #13 might be wrong. I'm pretty sure it actually says "Deep underground, below this volcano, you'll find the treasure-loving *Mogmas*. These days, most of them are content with staying down in their lair, where they do nothing but relax all day." I'm not sure if this is just in the HD version on the switch or on the Wii too.
