How to Activate the Lanayru Desert Power Generator and Node Locations

This is a guide to activating the Power Generator in Lanayru Desert for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD (Switch). Read on to learn where to find all Power Nodes, map locations, and steps to activate the Power Generator!

How to Activate the Power Generator

After going around the blocked Temple of Time, you will come across a Timeshift Stone and a Power Generator near the middle of the Lanayru Desert.

Your goal here is to activate 3 Power Nodes scattered around the Desert, then activate the big Power Generator to reveal the next dungeon: Lanayru Mining Facility. Fi will give you the ability to use dowsing to track the powerless nodes.

Power Node	Details
	Bomb the statues on the Western side of the desert then activate the Timeshift Stone. Thrust your sword in the Power Node then turn it.
	Bomb and enter the warehouse on the North side. Find and activate the Timeshift Stone, then carry the Ampilus egg to open the gate. Thrust your sword in the Power Node then turn it.
	Enter the Cache, then ride the Ampilus shell towards the north. Activate the Timeshift Stone then carry the Ampilus egg to open the gate. Thrust your sword in the Power Node then turn it.

Thrust, turn, then push the dial of the Power Generator

Return to the Power Generator after activating all nodes. Like the Power Nodes, you must thrust the dial then turn it to a specific direction. The hint is with the map's orientation and the elemental symbols on it.

Doing this in order correctly will unlock the next dungeon.

How to Find All Power Nodes

Power Node #1

	How to Find Power Node #1
1	Blow the statue and the wall on the West side of Lanayru Desert.
2	Activate the Timeshift Stone.
3	Thrust your sword to the Power Node terminal in the middle, then turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Power Node #2 - North Warehouse

	How to Find Power Node #2
1	Bomb the crack on the wall on the North side of Lanayru Desert.
2	Enter the warehouse and sprint across the quicksands.
3	Roll bombs to large rocks until a Timeshift Stone is revealed, then activate it.
4	Carry the Ampilus egg by either rolling it, or using your Hook Beetle.
5	Step on the pressure plate, then push the Ampilus egg to open up the gate.
6	Thrust your sword to the Power Node terminal, then turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Power Node #3 - Stone Cache

	How to Find Power Node #3
1	Enter the Cache on the South-Eastern side of Lanayru Desert.
2	Bomb the rock on the middle to reveal the Timeshift Stone, but do not activate it yet.
3	Defeat an Ampilus, then ride on its shell to get to the gate.
4	From the North side, activate the Timeshift Stone with your Beetle or Slingshot.
5	Climb up the boxes on the West wall, then use your Hook Beetle to carry the Ampilus egg to the pressure plate.
6	Step on the pressure plate, then roll the egg to open the gates.
7	Thrust your sword to the Power Node terminal, then turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise.
