Skyward Sword HD Camera Controls

One of the big quality of life updates this game received was the full camera controls that the Wii version lacked. Depending on what controls you are using (Button or Motion) the way you control the camera differs.

How to Control the Camera

Function Button-Only Controls Motion Controls
Reset the Camera (and turn in Link's direction) ZL Button ZL Button
Re-Center the Camera Y Button Y Button
Move the Camera L Button

How to Change Camera Controls

Camera options

Skyward Sword gives you some options for controlling the camera. Press the + button to bring up the main menu then go to options. Here players have to option adjust motion controls (moving your switch or pro controller will move the camera when aiming), and/or invert their camera controls.

Use Motion Controls for the Camera Toggles the motion-based camera in button-only mode
Camera Speed
Very Slow, Slow, Normal, Fast, Very Fast		 Adjusts the speed at which the control stick moves the camera and reticle
Camera: Invert Vertical Inverts the vertical camera controls
Camera: Invert Horizontal Inverts the horizontal camera controls
