This is a guide to the Duet with Kina Harp minigame in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how to unlock the Lumpy Pumpkin Harp Minigame, rewards, and how to get the best reward!
List of Contents
To unlock the Harp Jam minigame, you need to go to the second floor of Lumpy Pumpkin and roll into the wall repeatedly to break the chandelier. After breaking the chandelier, talk to Pumm and he will ask you to do three tasks for him. The final task is the Duet With Kina and completing it earns you a Piece of Heart and the ability to replay the minigame.
Playing the harp at the Lumpy Pumpkin becomes available after obtaining the Goddess's Harp, and defeating The Imprisoned at the Sealed Grounds for the first time. To start the side quest, travel to the Lumpy Pumpkin and sleep on a bed until night. Talk to Pumm on the counter to get started.
Lumpy Pumpkin Sidequest Guide
When the minigame starts, you'll notice that the two audience members will wave their hands based on the song's rhythm. Follow Keet, the young man on the left, to match the rhythm of the song.
While performing, be sure to use sweeping motions to strum the harp all the way to the left and to the right. This increases the chances of finishing the duet with a "fantastic" feedback from Pumm.
When the audience stops waving their hands midway in the duet, you can perform a freestyle and play however you like. Be sure to get ready once they start waving their hands again.
If you have completed the minigame as part of the Lumpy Pumpkin side quest, you earn a Piece of Heart as a first time reward.
Note that you can still get the Heart Piece even if you received a "mediocre" rating from Pumm. If you have received a "lousy" rating, you need to retry the duet.
How to Get All Pieces of Heart In Order
