Where to Find Stools

In Skyloft

In Skyloft, you can sometimes find stools inside houses. Depending on the location, you can activate unique dialogue such as talking to Mallara or reading Zelda's diary in her room.

In the Overworld and Inside Dungeons

You can also find stools that you can sit on inside dungeons and in the overworld areas. These provide an easy way to restore your health without needing to look for hearts or using a potion.

When playing in Hero Mode, the stools become invaluable as these are one of the only ways to restore your hearts.

What are Stools?

Chairs that Restore Health

Stools (Chairs) are a piece of furniture that restore health when sat upon. In areas such as Faron Woods, these stools come in the form of tree stumps that serve the same purpose.

Sitting on Stools Activates a Unique Dialogue

Sitting on a stool next to a character will activate a unique dialogue that provides information on certain characters. For example, sitting on the stool in the Sealed Grounds gives you extra dialogue from The Old One.
