This is a guide to Wallet types in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how to get the Wallet, as well as how to upgrade it to hold more rupees!
You start with a Small Wallet that allows you to hold a total of 300 Rupees. To increase its capacity, see the section below.
The Small Wallet can be replaced with another wallet with a larger size after giving Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux.
See the table below to learn what wallet upgrades you can get from Batreaux.

 Medium Wallet

Give 5 Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux.
Effects: Lets you hold a maximum of 500 Rupees. |
 Big Wallet
|
Give 10 Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux.
Effects: Lets you hold a maximum of 1000 Rupees. |
 Giant Wallet
|
Give 50 Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux.
Effects: Lets you hold a maximum of 5000 Rupees. |
 Tycoon Wallet
|
Give 80 Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux.
Effects: Lets you hold a maximum of 9000 Rupees. |
In addition to the above wallet upgrades, three Extra Wallets can also be purchased from Beedle's Shop to increase your wallet capacity to hold 300 Rupees. These cost 100 Rupees each.

The Wallet is a piece of equipment that allows you to hold Rupees. The maximum amount of Rupees you can hold after upgrading it to its full capacity is 9900 Rupees.
