After Groose lands on the surface for the first time, sleep until night and head to the restroom at the Knight Academy. Talk to the voice inside and head back to a bed and sleep until morning.
Talk to Cawlin at the hallway in the Knight Academy to start the side quest.

Optional: Head to the Bazaar and talk to Dovos. He will mention a rumor of a strange sound at the Knight Academy at night. |

Optional: Head to the first floor kitchen of the Knight Academy and talk to Henya. She will mention a strange voice coming from the restroom at night. | |
Check the Restroom at night |
Sleep on any bed until night and check the restroom at the Knight Academy. |

Sleep on a bed until morning and talk to Cawlin at the Knight Academy hallway. He will give you a love letter, which you can deliver to Karane or to the ghost in the restroom. |

If you decide to deliver the letter to Karane, head to the first floor and talk to her. |

Head to the second floor and talk to Pipit. |
5 | Return to Karane |
Return to Karane to talk to her again and watch the cutscene that follows to complete the side quest. |
3 | Enter the Restroom at night |
If you decide to deliver the letter to the voice, sleep on a bed until night and enter the restroom. Give the letter to the hand. |

4 | Talk to Cawlin |
Sleep on a bed until morning and talk to Cawlin. |
5 | Enter Groose's room at night |
After speaking with Cawlin, sleep on a bed until night and head inside Groose's room. Talk to the ghostly hand to complete the side quest. |
Regardless of your decision, you will receive 5 Gratitude Crystals as a reward for completing the side quest.
