This is a guide comparing graphics of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to see a comparison between the original game on the Nintendo Wii and the HD version on the Nintendo Switch!

As shown in the table above, there is a noticeable blurry background that can be seen in the original Nintendo Wii version. This was removed for the HD version in the Nintendo Switch

Taking advantage of the Nintendo Switch's processing power, Skyward Sword HD has enhanced shadows and textures compared to the original Nintendo Wii version.
In addition, the Switch version has minor lighting improvements, making cutscenes less darker than the original.

The original Wii version has a subtle yellow filter applied, making the clouds have a slight yellowish tint. This effect has been reduced for the Switch version.

As shown in the tables above, Link has jagged shoulders that can be seen in the original Wii version. This is improved in the Switch version, giving Link rounder and realistic shoulders.
