Galdera, the Fallen is the toughest boss in the game. If you haven't used all the nuts in your inventory, doing so in preparation for this boss fight is recommended to raise the stats of your characters where needed.

Being the hardest battle in the entire game, you'll need every little bit of help you can get. Raise your characters' levels, even to max levels if you can. While this doesn't guarantee a victory, it can still give your characters a boost in stats that could make the battle a little less difficult.

Optimize Your Entire Team

For this boss fight, you'll be using all eight characters divided into two parties. So before initiating, make sure that all of your characters are optimized. Equip your characters with the best items, the best secondary jobs, make sure they have all their skills, and that their levels are high enough for the fight.

Another thing to consider is how you'll be splitting your team. This boss battle consists of two fights, with each fight utilizing a different party. Planning a good team composition for your primary and secondary parties is crucial. Make sure each half is powerful enough to stand on its own and have any needed roles filled, such as healer, damage dealer, and so on.

Best Secondary Jobs and Class Combos

Focus on Physical Attacks for Secondary Party

Galdera, the Fallen, the second stage of this fight has the ability to apply a Reflection Barrier, protecting itself from elemental attacks. When composing your secondary party that will go against Galdera, keep in mind that physical attacks will be significantly more effective against it.

Utilize Skills that Provide Additional Actions

Utilize skills A Step Ahead, Aelfric's Blessing, and Throne's Latent Power to allow your characters to perform extra actions. This becomes especially crucial for the second stage of this fight where Galdera can perform up to four actions in a single turn.

Defeat Support Units Immediately

Both stages of this boss fight have several support enemy units that are powerful enough to defeat your party on their own and together can make the fight impossible to win. In addition, the support units protect the boss' weaknesses and keeps them invincible. Fortunately, the support units don't have as much HP or Shield Value. They can be defeated or at least broken quickly to prevent them from taking even their first turn.

Skills such as the Hunter's Draefendi's Bow or Thief's Aeber's Reckoning can one-shot these support units with the right damage build and buffs. Temenos with Scholar as a secondary job and buffed with the Dancer's Sealticge's Seduction can consistently break the support units. The Merchant's Hired Help: Ruffian skill can also help by applying a decrease physical defense debuff on all enemy units.

Use Castti's Concoctions to Supply BPs

Before going into the fight, make sure that Castti has enough Pomegranate, Diffusing Serum, and Strengthening Serum for her concoctions to constantly supply the entire party with BPs. This ensures that a majority of the actions your characters will perform will be at Max Boost.

Utilize Temenos' EX Skill

Investing in buffs for the two stages of this fight can sometimes be wasteful as both bosses here can nullify your entire party's buffs. This makes Temenos' EX Skill Prayer for Plenty one of the best support skills for this fight. Increasing everyone's health way beyond their Max HP will be very helpful for your characters to survive.

Ignore Galdera's Shield and Weaknesses

For Galdera, the Fallen, because of its constantly increasing high shield value and changing weaknesses, you're better off ignoring these and just focusing on dealing as much damage as you can while keeping your characters alive. With the Warrior's Deal More Damage support skill, the right attack buffs and debuffs, and the right damage build, you can still deal up to 99,999 damage even without breaking Galdera's shield.

As an example, Throne fed with a lot of Light and Fortifying Nuts, equipped with items that increase her speed and damage, buffed with increase physical attack, with Galdera's physical defense decreased can still deal up to 99,999 damage with shields on.
