You can increase encounter rate by dashing in Octopath Traveler 2. Find out how you can encounter more enemies, recommended time to increase encounter rate and even how to decrease them!

Dash to Increase Enemy Spawn Rate

Red Radar Encounter
Dash by holding PS4 - Circle Button.png, NSW - B or Shift Button

Be mindful of the lower right corner of the screen!

When you are dashing, the radar will glow red which means there is a high chance of encountering more enemies.

Stronger monsters come out at night so you should consider switch the time of day if you want to fight these monsters and gain more experience points.
