To claim your pre-order bonuses, fast-travel to a nearby town and head inside a tavern. Once inside, talk to the tavern keeper and select the Claim Pre-Order Bonus from the selection to obtain all items you get from pre-ordering.

Octopath Traveler 2 Edition Differences

Physical Edition

The standard edition of Octopath Traveler 2 which includes the base game and is only available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Collector's Edition Set

Along with the physical edition, the Collector's Edition Set includes a hardcover, 44 page artbook featuring a collection of package art, maps, and illustrations depicting all eight playable characters. It will also include a mini OST which has 24 song variations, some not included in the complete soundtrack which will be sold separately.

Lastly, the Collector's Edition Set includes a bust set depicting the eight protagonists. Also the background inside the figure package features a map of the Solistia continent.

Japanese Collector's Edition Set

The Japanese Collector's Edition Set's contents will be similar to the Collector's Edition Set that can be purchased within the US Square Enix online store except there will be a quilted bag included.

Is There A Demo?

Demo Available Now

Square Enix released a demo for Octopath Traveler 2 on February 8, 2023 for PS5, PS4, and Switch at 3pm PST / 11pm GMT while the demo for Steam launched on February 9, 2023 at 9am PST / 5pm GMT.

The demo showcases the first three hours of the game and the save you make on the demo is transferable to the full game!
