Best Support Skills

Regardless of your preference in party composition, chances are you're going to have at least one damage dealer. By default, any attack can only deal a maximum of 9,999 damage. Having Deal More Damage equipped to your damage dealers will increase their max attack damage to 99,999. This is essential, especially in the later parts of the game where Enemy HP can go up to the hundred thousand.

A Step Ahead will give the equipped character an extra turn at the start of a battle. This is best equipped to your support characters for immediate buffs but could also work with damage dealers to immediately defeat enemies before they can do anything. In addition, the extra turn means everyone will start the battle with one additional BP.

While a bit more circumstantial, as long as a character is equipped with accessories that increase stats, Upgraded Accessories is a must to take advantage of.

Best Support Skills for Hikari

Hikari has the highest physical attack stat out of all the travelers, so optimizing him with support skills that can enhance his high damage is ideal. Normally, the damage cap limit is 9,999. It is recommended to equip Deal More Damage that raise the cap to 99,999.

In the later parts of the game, using the right equipment can easily hit the max stat limit of 999 for his physical attack. In this case, equip support skills that can still increase his damage despite this limit, such as Master of Offense and Eagle Eye, which are related to critical, and Peak Performance.

Agnea is a great support character, as her skills and Latent Power allow her to buff the party all at once. Equip Invigorate and Inspire to slightly fill up her Latent Power gauge when she uses an augmenting skill on someone.

Pair Invigorate and Inspire with Latent Power Plus as this increases the amount of Latent Power gained by the character.

Another recommended skill to equip is The Show Goes On, which extends the duration of the buff granted by Agnea.

Partitio is another great support type character whose main role is to give BP to his teammates. Equip Full Power as this completely fills his Latent Power gauge at the start of a fight and BP Boost to immediately allow him to donate 3 BPs to a character for his first turn. Using his Latent Power will give Partitio max BP which allows him to use Donate BP to another traveler.

Donate BP also has high compatibility with the support skill BP Regeneration, as this has a 25% chance of recovering the amount of BP used.

To boost the increase in his Latent Power gauge, equip Invigorate and Inspire and use an enhancing skill to allies so that his gauge will slightly fill up. Pair this skill with Latent Power Plus, which works well with Invigorate and Inspire as this increases the amount of Latent Power gained by Partitio.

Osvald has the highest elemental attack so focus on making him a magic damage nuke.

First, equip Deal More Damage to raise his damage cap limit up to 99,999. Elemental Augmentation should also be considered, as this will raise his elemental attack by 50.

Having Price of Power is also highly recommended, as this strengthens the potency of spells in exchange for more SP consumption. Mitigate this by equipping SP Saver which reduces SP consumption by half.

Temenos is the main healer of the group and can also provide buffs to his allies. As the healer, he requires massive SP when he heals, so equip SP Saver to reduce the cost of his skills and Inner Strength to give him +50 SP.

Mainly playing a support role, Temenos also needs to sustain himself for his allies' sake. Rise Again can help him survive hard battles longer. Have Vigorous Victor so he can restore 30% of his HP and SP after winning a battle and Resilience that boosts the HP restored to him and his party.

With his Latent Power, Temenos is also excellent at breaking enemies. You can equip Salt the Wound to take advantage and possibly have him act twice.

Being a thief, Throne has one of the most powerful multi-target attacks in the game with the Aeber's Reckoning. With a Speed-focused build and the right buffs, she can deal 99,999 to multiple enemies without breaking their shields. This makes Deal More Damage an essential support skill for her.

Additionally, you can top it off with additional damage and speed support skills such as Peak Performance and Fleetfoot.

And with her Latent Power, you can also use A Step Ahead and BP Regeneration to possibly use Aeber's Reckoning twice before anyone else even gets a turn.

Having a unique talent to capture monsters, you should utilize this by making her and her monsters a destructive force of nature by dealing high damage.

Raise chances of encountering more rare monsters by equipping More Rare Monsters. Some rare monsters deal massive damage, like the Light Revenant, so it is recommended to capture one.

Thanks to her talent of capturing monsters, she has a wide coverage of enemy weaknesses, making it easier to break enemies. Capitalize this by having Salt the Wound have a 50% chance of acting twice when you break monsters.

Increase your critical by 50 by equipping Eagle Eye and increase your damage limit cap to 99,999 by equipping Deal More Damage. Afterward, use her Latent Power to deal massive damage to foes.

As someone who makes different concoctions, Castti is a versatile character, as she can grant buffs, debuffs, and heal others, as well as make damaging concoctions against enemies. Having The Show Goes On will extend the buffs and debuff for another turn.

Equip Full Power to gain a full Latent Power gauge at the start of a fight. Her Latent Power allows her to make concoctions without any materials.

Finally, as with all support characters, having Rise Again equipped can be a lifesaver in crucial moments.
