Players can change their Game Options in Octopath Traveler 2. Learn how to change your settings, as well as the recommended settings to enhance the player's experience.

Voices

Players can switch between Japanese voice or English voice. Performances in both languages are fantastic, so it is up to the player what voice language they want to pick.

Message Speed

Set the Message Speed to Fastest, so players can shorten the waiting time for the text to be displayed.

Text Display (Fast Forward)

Selecting the Play icon during a cutscene will automatically progress the text even without player input. Choose Long in the Settings, so players can enjoy reading what the characters are saying without the text progressing too fast or too slow.

Remember Battle Cursor Position

During battle, the cursor will be placed on the command chosen during the previous turn such as Job Skills, Attack or any other command. This is convenient if players want to choose the same command continuously.

During Path Actions, the cursor will be placed on the option chosen previously. This is convenient if players want to choose the same command continuously.

Volume Settings

Change the volume settings to a level that your ears are comfortable with.

Access Settings on Menu

1	Open the main menu by pressing // I.
2	Select Miscellaneous on the main menu.
3	Choose Settings

Players can change the settings by accessing the Menu and selecting Settings on Miscellaneous . You can also access the Settings at the Title Screen of the game.
