Side Stories are activated by speaking to townspeople with an orange speech bubble floating over their heads. They can also be tracked via the radar by approaching the orange Side Story icon.
Radar Icons and What They Mean
Side Stories all have varying conditions to clear, with some requiring players to beat enemies, but most, require Path Actions for them to be completed.
When met with a Side Story, be sure to take note of the client's dialogue as they will serve as clues as to where to go next in order to complete the Side Story!
Path Actions Guide: All Path Actions Explained
Completing storylines of characters unlocks extra Side Stories that yield rewards that could prove to be helpful for the final chapter.
Additionally, these extra Side Stories closes out the subplots of select side characters from the heroes' respective routes.
