| 1 | Travel to the Southern Cropdale Trail. As soon as you finish the last of the 8 main storylines, a new location will appear on the map. This is where you can begin the extra stories leading to the true ending of the game. ► Southern Cropdale Trail Guide |
| 2 |  Interact with the bonfire. When you arrive at the waypoint, there will be a bonfire that acts as the starting point for the Extra Stories. Note: You will not be able to interact with most NPCs, Side Stories will be temporarily locked, but you will be able to change party members any time in the menu. |
| 3 |  Defeat the Shadowy Beasts. Two shadowy creatures will appear after a short cutscene. These will be similar to the Shadowy Creatures from Ochette's final chapter in her storyline. Enemy Information: Shadowy Demon Jellyfish ・5 ・Weaknesses: Axe, Lightning, Light  SP Shadowy Demon Deer ・5 ・Weaknesses: Staff, Lightning, Light SP |
| 4 |  Choose the next destination. After the cutscene, you will be able to choose which location you will start the next part of your journey. You will not be able to see your destination in the radar, you will have to search for clues to find your heading. |
