Quest Rewards

Once you finish the quest Partitio's Scent of Commerce, you'll be rewarded with a ship that can take you anywhere in the seas of Solistia. This will unlock new areas for you and head to areas that are otherwise inaccessible from using ferries.

How to Complete Partitio's Scent of Commerce

Buy The Ship to Freely Roam the Seas!

Although the ship is costly enough to purchase, it's very worthwhile that you buy it for the reason that you will be able to explore the seas of Solistia known as The Sundering Sea and head to locations that you would otherwise be unable to get to.

However, it's worth noting that you will encounter enemies that are in the Danger Level 34 and above. Make sure you have your party leveled up before taking on the dangerous seas of Solistia.

Hire an NPC That Provides Discounts Off Purchases

Before you buy a ship from Terry, make sure you hire the NPCs mentioned above using Partitio's Path Action to get a discount on your purchases. There are two NPCs in Trophu'hopu that you can hire, the Sailor NPC and the Merchant NPC. The Sailor NPC gives you a 5% chance to get a 50% off purchases, while the Merchant NPC guarantees a 20% discount when hired.

You can easily find them in Tropu'hopu to save you a lot of money. If you plan to use the Sailor NPC, make sure to save first before buying the ship. If you fail to get the 50%, you can always return to the previous save file and try again until you get the 50% off.

If you want to customize your ship again, you can return to Terry at the Tropu'hopu (Shipyard), and Terry will let you buy a ticket that customizes your ship's appearance for 20,000 Leaves.
