Defeat Octopuff Travelers

Octopath Traveler II - Octopuff Traveler
Octopuff Travelers are unique enemies that can be found in different regions. Defeating an Octopuff Traveler should be on your farming priority list as successfully killing one grants the player 1500 Leaves, 500 EXP, and 300 JP.

Be prepared though as they are very rare to encounter, are hard to hit, and will escape if you don't kill them fast enough.

Defeat Caits

Octopath Traveler 2 - Defeating Enemy Cait

Caits are unique enemies that are randomly encountered across the map. Defeating a Cait should be on your farming priority list as successfully killing one grants the player 3000 Leaves, 1000 EXP, and 150 JP.

Be prepared though as they are very rare to encounter, are hard to hit, and will escape if you don't kill them fast enough.

Domination bonus is given to the player at the end of the battle if they manage to one-hit an enemy. This can be achieved by using a strong attack and exploiting an enemy's weakness for more damage.

Agnea, Throne and Ochette have Support Skills that give more JP after battle and raise encounter rate with rare monsters. Note that equipping multiple characters with these skills will have no added effect.
