It is also highly recommended that you utilize the monsters you have captured along the way. Use your main companion, Mahina or Akala, to reveal weaknesses and then use your other monsters to break and damage Alpione to submission.

Capture a Healer Before the Fight

You will have to fight Alpione alone so be sure you have captured a beast capable of healing you as you try and whittle down Alpione's HP. This will also be helpful in dealing with her poison attacks that last for a few turns.
