Chapter Summary and Introduction

Osvald returns to his home in Conning Creek after five years of rotting away in Frigit Isle Prison. He seeks out Captain Stenvar who allied himself with Harvey to orchestrate his arrest.

Conning Creek: Outskirts

	Objectives
1	Head home. Head to the outskirts east of Conning Creek to your old home.
2	Make for Osvald's laboratory. Head for a hidden passageway behind Osvald's house to his laboratory. You will be interrupted by Osvald's old assistant, Lady Clarissa.
3	Defeat Lady Clarissa. Lady Clarissa suspects that you are merely an impostor trying to steal from Osvald's laboratory. Defeat her in battle to prove otherwise.
4	Gain information on Captain Stenvar. Scrutinize information out of the townspeople to progress.

Guard Outpost

1	Defeat Captain Stenvar. Head to the Guard Outpost and find Captain Stenvar to conclude the chapter.

How to Beat Captain Stenvar

Make Sure You Have Enough HP

Despite saying that the recommended level for doing this is Level 18, the game can be a bit punishing if you try to fight a boss just because you have reached the “minimum” recommended level. It is recommended that your party has an average of 2000 HP each to last the fight as Captain Stenvar and his lackeys pack a mean punch.

Break His Lackeys as Much ＆ Fast as You Can

Much like Warden Davids, Captain Stenvar has the ability to call for backup to protect his Shield Points from going down. You can utilize Temenos' Latent Power to lower Shield Points regardless of the weakness. You may also want to utilize Osvald's and Ochette's AoE attacks to break more than one enemy at a time.

Fire Soulstone East side upon entering the area.
Guard's Armor Second level near some weapon racks.
Empowering Lychee (M) In the room to the east of the second level.
Guard's Hat In front of the fireplace on the second level to the north.
7200 Leaves Under the chandelier on the second level. Use the hidden path east of the save point.
