Chapter Summary and Introduction

With Castti's memories returned to her, she is reminded of the horror of her former colleague Trousseau's purple rain. She heads to Timberain to stop his evil plot that could hurt a lot of people.

Timberain

	Objectives
1	Look Around Town Head to the west side of town to trigger a cutscene.
2	Find a Way to Get the People to Safety Head to the local tavern east of the area.
3	Make for Timberain Castle Head north to the next area and continue going north to reach Timberain Castle. Reach the top of the castle.

Timberain Castle: Roof

	Objectives
1	Defeat the Boss, Trousseau At the top of the castle, you'll encounter the chapter's boss. There will be a Save Point just before the area where he confronts you, be sure to make a save before continuing. Defeat the Trousseau to continue. If it proves to be difficult, it is recommended to wander around the castle to grind more EXP. ▼ Jump to Boss Guide ▼
2	Create a Cure for the Purple Rain Use the available ingredients to make a medicinal concoction that cure the ailments caused by the rain.

How to Beat Trousseau

Defeat as Fast as Possible

The gimmick for this chapter's boss is the rain slowly decreases your party's maximum HP. There's no way to prevent this and sort of acts like a timer for the battle. The longer the battle lasts, the lower your party's HP becomes, the harder it is to survive Trousseau's vicious attacks. Make sure to bring your heavy hitting characters that can deal the most damage in the shortest amount of turns to quickly finish the battle.

Utilize Skills that Protect from Ailments

Trousseau has a lot of skills that apply multiple ailments to multiple characters. Utilize skills such as the Apothecary's Rehabilitate or Cleansing Leaf Medical Concoction to protect your best characters during the fight.

Break When Preparing After Transformation

At the midpoint of the battle, Trousseau transforms and becomes a lot more powerful. His shield is much higher and his prepared attacks can end the fight in an instant. However, he'll have a lot more weaknesses. Make sure you are able to break him in any way possible when he's preparing an attack indicated by the purple glow on his avatar.

Break and Boost System Guide

Bring Items that Restore SP and BP

Trousseau has a skill that can deplete your party's BP and SP. This can be devastating when done at crucial moments of the fight. Items such as the Inspiriting Plum Basket or the Revitalizing Jam can be lifesavers for these instances.
